Creative Writing Progress
I need to query more. (Although I still have that partial out!) And I need to creative write more. Unfortunately, the copywrite section below is going to consume my creative writing time today. (And Dietary Progress consumed my weekend!)
I got a phenomenal idea for clones this morning. The story would start with the clone waking up and finding out he or she is a replacement for someone that is going out to war, so his or her spouse isn’t lonely.
Copywriting Progress
I applied for a freelance position a couple weeks ago for a geek girl site and I’m in the running for the second round!–which means I need to write a sample article for them to see what they think. If all goes well, it’ll be one article every Thursday. I’m totally excited about this gig. My new copywriter job is also going splendid.
Dietary Progress
Thanks to Facebook, friends directed me to the miracles of DDR and I played for over ten hours this weekend. I also did at least five hours of strong, solid walking. Lots of away-from-computer time, which felt great, but it hurt my writing progress a smidgen.
In Other News
You know how sometimes, you hear a song and think, “That totally applies to my life!”? I get these experiences with my book; I’ll hear a song and instantly think, “That reflected my plot PERFECTLY,” and then I’ll go and post the lyrics up on Kourtnie.net’s blog. Today, this happened with Delain – Start Swimming.
